Endless idle RPG Review & Gameplay Guide
I've been playing Endless Idle RPG for a while now, and I've got to say, it's been a bit of a wild ride. At first, I was hooked - the concept of an idle game where you can just sit back and watch your characters progress is really appealing to me. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of getting stronger without having to put in too much effort? The game's got a pretty simple premise: you've got a party of heroes that fight monsters, collect loot, and level up, all without you having to do much of anything except tap the screen every now and then.
As I started playing, I was really enjoying the game. The graphics are pretty decent, and the sound effects are nice and satisfying. The characters all have their own unique abilities and playstyles, which is cool. I liked experimenting with different party compositions and seeing how they all worked together. But as time went on, I started to realize that the game can get a bit... grindy. Like, really grindy. You'll find yourself doing the same thing over and over again, just waiting for your characters to level up or for new equipment to drop. It's not necessarily bad, but it can get a bit boring after a while.
One thing that I do appreciate about Endless Idle RPG is the sheer amount of content it has. There are tons of different stages, each with their own unique challenges and rewards. There are also a bunch of different characters to collect, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. And of course, there's the usual array of upgrades and equipment to buy, which can help you progress through the game more quickly. It's definitely a game that's designed to keep you playing for a long time, and in that sense, it's pretty successful. I've found myself coming back to it again and again, even when I wasn't really sure why I was still playing.
But despite all the content, I do have to say that the game can feel a bit shallow at times. I mean, there's not really a whole lot of depth to the gameplay - it's pretty much just a matter of tapping the screen and waiting for things to happen. Don't get me wrong, it's fun at first, but after a while, it starts to feel a bit hollow. And the story? Forget about it. It's basically non-existent. I'm not really sure what's going on in the game, or why my characters are fighting these monsters. It's not really a big deal, but it would be nice to have a bit more context.
I've also got to say that the game's monetization model is a bit aggressive. I mean, I get it - the developers need to make money somehow. But it feels like every five minutes, the game is asking me to buy something or watch an ad. It's not necessarily a deal-breaker, but it can get a bit annoying after a while. And of course, there are the usual array of microtransactions, which can give players who are willing to spend money a bit of an advantage. It's not necessarily pay-to-win, but it's definitely pay-to-progress-faster.
Overall, I'd say that Endless Idle RPG is a decent game. It's not going to win any awards for originality or depth, but it's a fun way to pass the time. If you're a fan of idle games, you'll probably enjoy it. Just be aware that it can get a bit grindy, and be prepared to deal with some aggressive monetization. With that said, I'm still playing it, and I'll probably keep playing it for a while longer. It's just one of those games that's easy to pick up and play for a bit, you know?
