I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit skeptical when I first downloaded Fashion Stylist Salon Makeover. I mean, I'm a gamer who's usually into action-packed games or strategy games, so a fashion game wasn't really my thing. But, I was looking for something to play on my commute and this game seemed like it could be a fun, mindless distraction. And, you know what, it actually is pretty fun. The gameplay is super simple - you run a salon and have to style hair, do makeup, and dress clients to make them look their best.

At first, it's all pretty easy and you just go through the motions, but as you progress through the levels, it gets a bit more challenging. You have to deal with different client requests, like making them look like a specific celebrity or creating a certain style for a special event. And, you have to do it all within a certain time limit, which can get a bit stressful. But, it's a good kind of stress, you know? It's not like the game is ridiculously hard or anything, it's just challenging enough to keep you engaged.

One thing that's kind of annoying is the in-app purchases. I mean, I get it, the game is free, so they have to make money somehow. But, it feels like they're really pushing you to buy stuff. You can buy in-game currency, or special items, or even just straight up buy your way to the next level. It's not necessary or anything, but it's just kind of frustrating when you're trying to play the game and you keep getting pop-ups asking you to buy something. And, sometimes the ads can be a bit much too. I've had times where I've had to watch like three ads in a row before I could even start playing.

Despite the annoying in-app purchases and ads, I've actually found myself getting pretty into the game. I like the creative aspect of it, being able to style hair and makeup and choose outfits for the clients. And, it's kind of satisfying when you complete a level and the client looks really good. The graphics are also pretty good, the characters all look unique and the hairstyles and outfits are all really detailed. It's not a game that's going to blow your mind or anything, but it's a fun little time-waster.

I've also noticed that the game can get a bit repetitive after a while. You're doing the same things over and over again, just with different clients and slightly different requests. But, the game tries to mix it up a bit by adding in special events and challenges, which can be kind of fun. And, they also update the game pretty regularly, so there's always something new to look forward to. Overall, I'd say Fashion Stylist Salon Makeover is a solid game, it's not going to be for everyone, but if you're into fashion or just looking for something casual to play, it's definitely worth checking out.

It's not a game that I'll be playing for hours on end or anything, but it's a fun little game that I can play when I've got some downtime.
