Funny Hair Salons Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last couple of hours playing Funny Hair Salons, and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. I mean, I was expecting something cheesy and over the top, and boy, did this game deliver. The premise is pretty simple - you're the owner of a hair salon, and you have to style the hair of these crazy customers who come in with the most outrageous requests. It sounds silly, and it is, but it's also kind of addicting.
The gameplay is where things get really interesting. You have to navigate through this menu system that's supposed to be like a real hair salon, with different stations for cutting, coloring, and styling. It's actually pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it, but at first, it can be a bit overwhelming. The customers all have these different personalities and preferences, and you have to figure out what they want and then try to deliver it to them. Some of them are super picky, and if you mess up, they'll get all upset and leave bad reviews. It's actually kind of stressful, but in a weird way, it's also kind of fun.
One of the things that really got me about this game is the graphics. They're not exactly top-notch, but they have this weird, retro charm to them that I kind of love. The characters all look like they were ripped straight out of a cartoon, and the salon itself is just this bright, colorful mess of hair tools and products. It's all very over-the-top, but it works somehow. The sound effects are also worth mentioning - the sound of scissors cutting through hair, the buzzing of the clippers, it all just adds to the overall experience.
Now, I'm not going to lie, there are some problems with this game. For one thing, it can get pretty repetitive. You're doing the same thing over and over again - cut, color, style, repeat. It's not like there's a ton of depth to the gameplay or anything. And some of the customers can be super annoying. I mean, I get it, they're supposed to be quirky and all that, but some of them are just plain ridiculous. Like, who asks for a haircut that looks like a bird's nest? But despite all that, I still found myself having a good time.
I think part of the reason I enjoyed this game so much is that it's just so lighthearted and fun. It's not trying to be some serious, gritty simulation or anything. It's just a game that's meant to be played and enjoyed, and it succeeds at that. I mean, I wouldn't play it for hours on end or anything, but it's a great way to kill some time and have a few laughs. And hey, who knows, maybe you'll even learn a thing or two about hairstyling. Probably not, but it's still fun to pretend like you're a real stylist, even if it's just in a silly game like this.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend Funny Hair Salons to anyone looking for a fun, casual game to play. It's not going to win any awards or anything, but it's a great way to pass the time and have a few laughs. Just don't expect too much depth or complexity, and you'll be fine. And hey, who knows, you might even find yourself getting addicted to the whole hairstyling thing. I mean, I did, and now I'm thinking about getting a virtual haircut just for kicks. Okay, maybe not, but you get the idea. It's a fun game, and it's worth checking out.
