Idle City Review & Gameplay Guide
I've been playing Idle City for a few days now, and I have to say it's been a pretty entertaining experience. The game is exactly what it sounds like - an idle game where you build and manage your own city. You start off with a small plot of land and a few bucks, and from there you can start building houses, shops, and all sorts of other structures. The goal is to earn as much money as possible, which you can then use to upgrade and expand your city.
At first, the game is pretty addictive. You'll find yourself constantly checking in to collect your earnings, upgrade your buildings, and unlock new ones. The graphics are cute and colorful, and the sound effects are pretty fun. But as you progress, the game starts to get a bit repetitive. You'll find yourself doing the same things over and over again - collecting money, upgrading buildings, and waiting for the next timer to expire. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's not exactly exciting either.
One thing that I do like about Idle City is the sense of progression. As you earn more money and upgrade your buildings, you'll start to unlock new areas of the city, new buildings, and new upgrades. It's satisfying to see your city grow and expand, and it gives you a sense of accomplishment. The game also has a few different modes, including a prestige mode that lets you reset your progress and start over with some bonuses. This adds a bit of replayability to the game, and gives you something to work towards.
My main complaint about Idle City is the ads. Oh man, the ads. They're everywhere. You'll get ads after almost every action, and they can be pretty annoying. I get that the game is free, and the devs need to make money somehow, but it feels like they're being a bit too aggressive with the ads. You can pay to remove them, but it's not exactly cheap. I'm not sure if it's worth it, to be honest. The game is fun, but it's not so fun that I'd pay to remove the ads.
Despite the ads, I've been having a pretty good time with Idle City. It's a great game to play in short bursts, and it's a good way to pass the time when you're bored. The game is also pretty relaxing, which is nice. You don't have to worry about anything too complicated, and you can just sit back and let the game do its thing. If you're a fan of idle games, or just looking for something casual to play, Idle City might be worth checking out. Just be prepared for the ads, and don't expect too much in the way of complexity or depth.
Overall, I'd say that Idle City is a solid, if unremarkable, idle game. It's fun, it's addictive, and it's a good way to pass the time. But it's not going to blow you away, and it's not going to keep you playing for hours on end. It's a game that's best played in short bursts, and it's a good way to fill a few minutes of downtime. If you're looking for something a bit more substantial, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you're just looking for a casual, relaxing game to play, Idle City might be worth checking out.
