MARNYL Silence The Haters Review & Gameplay Guide

I just spent the last few hours playing MARNYL Silence The Haters and I have to say, it's been a wild ride. I wasn't really sure what to expect from this game, I mean the title is pretty vague, but I'd seen some of my friends playing it on Twitch so I decided to give it a shot. The gameplay is actually pretty unique, it's like a mix of a rhythm game and a platformer, which sounds weird but it actually works really well. You have to navigate through these levels, avoiding obstacles and collecting power-ups, all while keeping to the beat of the music.

The music is definitely one of the highlights of the game, it's this energetic, pulsing electronic stuff that really gets you pumped up. I found myself getting more and more into the game as the music got more intense, it's like it was pushing me to keep going and not give up. The levels are pretty challenging, especially as you get further into the game, but the sense of accomplishment you get from beating a tough level is really satisfying. The graphics are also worth mentioning, they're this cool, futuristic style that fits perfectly with the music and the overall vibe of the game.

One thing that did get a bit frustrating at times was the controls. I'm playing on a PC with a keyboard and mouse, and sometimes it felt like the game wasn't responding as well as I would have liked. I'd try to jump or dash at the last second, and the game would just not register it, which would result in me dying and having to start the level over. It wasn't a huge deal, but it was definitely annoying at times. I'm not sure if it's just a problem with the PC version, or if it's like that on consoles too.

Despite the occasional control issue, I'm really enjoying MARNYL Silence The Haters. The game has this addictive quality to it, where you just want to keep playing and beating your high scores. I've already spent way more time playing it than I intended to, and I can see myself coming back to it again and again. The game also has this cool feature where you can create and share your own levels, which is a great way to add some replayability to the game. I haven't tried making my own levels yet, but I'm definitely going to give it a shot soon.

As for the story, I'm not really sure what's going on, to be honest. The game doesn't really have a narrative, it's more just a series of levels and challenges that you have to complete. There are these little cutscenes and quotes from the main character, but they don't really add up to much. It's not a big deal, though, because the gameplay is so much fun that you don't really need a story to enjoy the game. Although, it would be cool if they added some more story elements in a future update or something.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend MARNYL Silence The Haters to anyone who's a fan of rhythm games or platformers. It's a really unique and challenging game that's a lot of fun to play, and the music and graphics are top-notch. Just be prepared for the occasional frustrating moment when the controls don't cooperate, but other than that, it's a great game that's worth checking out. I'm excited to see what the developers do with it in the future, and I'm looking forward to spending many more hours playing it.
