Merge Rainbow Fighting Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Merge Rainbow Fighting and I've got some mixed feelings about it. At first, I thought it was going to be one of those super casual games that you play for a few minutes and then forget about, but it actually hooked me for a bit. The concept is pretty simple - you merge these little rainbow creatures to create more powerful versions of them, and then you use them to fight against other creatures. It's not exactly original, but it's executed in a way that's easy to pick up and play.
The graphics are definitely one of the strong points of the game. The rainbow creatures are all brightly colored and they look really cute, which I guess is part of the appeal. The backgrounds are also pretty nice, with these swirly patterns that match the rainbow theme. But at the same time, the graphics aren't so complicated that they slow down the game or anything. It runs pretty smoothly on my phone, which is a plus. The sound effects are also worth mentioning - they're all these fun, bubbly noises that match the game's lighthearted tone.
One thing that started to get on my nerves after a while was the repetition. You're basically doing the same thing over and over - merging creatures, fighting other creatures, merging some more. It's not like there's a big story or anything to keep you invested, so it's up to the gameplay to keep you hooked. And for a while, it did. But after a few hours, I started to feel like I was just going through the motions. I was merging creatures without even really thinking about it, just because I knew that's what I was supposed to do. It's not like it's a hard game or anything - it's just that it gets a bit dull after a while.
I also have to mention the ads. Oh man, the ads. They're everywhere. You can't even play for more than a few minutes without getting hit with an ad. I get that the developers need to make money, but it's just so annoying. And they're not even optional or anything - you have to watch them to get certain rewards or bonuses. It's like, I'm trying to play a game here, not watch a bunch of commercials. It's not a deal-breaker or anything, but it's definitely frustrating.
Despite all my complaints, I do have to say that Merge Rainbow Fighting is a pretty fun game. It's not going to win any awards or anything, but it's a good way to kill some time if you're bored. And like I said, the graphics are really nice, so if you're into that sort of thing, you might enjoy it. Just be prepared for the repetition and the ads, and you'll be fine. I'm not sure if I'll be playing it for much longer, but I can see how some people might get really into it. It's just not really my thing, I guess.
Overall, I'd say that Merge Rainbow Fighting is an okay game. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. If you're looking for something casual to play, you might want to check it out. Just don't expect too much depth or complexity, and you'll be fine. And if you're sensitive to ads, you might want to look elsewhere. But hey, it's free, so you can't really complain too much. I'm just going to go ahead and give it a solid mediocre rating - it's not going to change the world, but it's a decent way to pass the time.
