I just spent the last hour playing Num Blast, and I've got to say, it's a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, I love the idea behind the game - it's like a mashup of a puzzle game and a math test, which sounds weird, but it actually works pretty well. You're presented with a grid of numbers, and you've got to use basic math operations to clear the grid and progress through levels. It's simple, but it's also kind of addictive, and I found myself getting sucked in and trying to beat my high score.

One of the things that I think really works for Num Blast is the way it ramps up the difficulty. At first, it's super easy - you're just adding and subtracting single-digit numbers, and it's a breeze. But as you get further into the game, the numbers get bigger, and the operations get more complex. You've got to start using multiplication and division, and even some more advanced math concepts like fractions and decimals. It's not ridiculously hard or anything, but it's challenging enough to keep you on your toes.

My main complaint about Num Blast is that it can get a bit repetitive. I mean, you're basically doing the same thing over and over again - clearing grids, solving math problems, and progressing through levels. It's not like there's a ton of variety in the gameplay, and after a while, it starts to feel a bit grindy. I also wish there were more ways to customize the game - like, I'd love to be able to change the background or the music, just to mix things up a bit. As it stands, the game can feel a bit bare-bones at times.

Despite those complaints, I've got to say that I'm still having a decent amount of fun with Num Blast. The game's got a weird charm to it, and I like the way it makes me feel like I'm exercising my brain or something. Plus, it's a great way to kill some time when you're waiting in line or whatever - it's just a quick, easy game to pick up and play. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to everyone, but if you're into puzzle games or math games, you might want to check it out.

I also want to mention that the graphics and sound design in Num Blast are pretty solid. The game's got a nice, clean look to it, and the sound effects are all pretty satisfying. I like the way the numbers explode when you clear them from the grid - it's just a little touch, but it adds to the overall sense of satisfaction you get from playing the game. The music's not bad either - it's just a catchy little tune that plays in the background while you're playing.

Overall, I'd say that Num Blast is a decent game that's worth checking out if you're in the mood for something a bit different. It's not going to blow your mind or anything, but it's a fun way to pass the time, and it might even help you improve your math skills a bit. Just don't expect too much in the way of variety or customization - the game's a bit limited in those areas. Still, I'm glad I gave it a try, and I'll probably keep playing it for a bit longer to see how far I can get.
