Obby: Raft Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last few hours playing Obby: Raft and I have to say, it's been a pretty wild ride. I mean, I've played my fair share of obstacle Courses, or "Obbys" as the kids call them, but this one's got something special. For starters, the setting is really unique - you're on a raft, floating down a river, and you've got to navigate through all these crazy obstacles without falling off. It sounds simple, but trust me, it's not.
At first, I thought it was going to be one of those super frustrating games where you die a million times and just want to quit, but surprisingly, the difficulty curve is actually pretty well balanced. The levels start off relatively easy, and then gradually get harder and harder, which is great because it gives you a chance to get used to the controls and the mechanics of the game. And let me tell you, the controls are super responsive - I was worried that the whole "being on a raft" thing would make the movement feel wonky, but it actually feels really natural.
One thing that I really appreciate about Obby: Raft is the variety of obstacles you encounter. I mean, it's not just the usual "jump over this, avoid that" kind of stuff - there are spinning blades, falling rocks, and even these crazy whirlpools that can suck you down. And the best part is, the obstacles are all really creative and require you to think on your feet. There were several times where I had to retry a level like 10 times before I finally figured out the pattern and made it through, and that feeling of accomplishment is really satisfying.
Now, I'm not gonna lie, there are some parts of the game that can get a little repetitive. I mean, after a while, it starts to feel like you're just doing the same thing over and over again - running, jumping, avoiding obstacles. But at the same time, the levels are all really short, so even if you do die, you're not losing a ton of progress. And the game's got a really chill atmosphere, with this nice relaxing music playing in the background, which helps to reduce the frustration factor.
I also want to mention that the graphics are actually really nice. I mean, it's not a super realistic game or anything, but the visuals are all really colorful and vibrant, and the raft and the obstacles are all really well designed. It's clear that the devs put a lot of thought into the aesthetics of the game, and it pays off. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Obby: Raft to anyone who's a fan of obstacle courses or just looking for a fun, challenging game to play. It's not perfect, but it's definitely worth checking out.
All in all, I'm really impressed with Obby: Raft. It's a fun, challenging game that's perfect for playing in short bursts, and it's got a really unique setting and gameplay mechanics. If you're looking for a game that's gonna test your skills and keep you on your toes, then this is definitely the game for you. And even if you're not a huge fan of obstacle courses, the game's got a really relaxed atmosphere and some really creative level design, so it's worth checking out just for that. Anyway, that's my two cents - I hope you guys enjoy the game as much as I did.
