Touch Draw Game Review & Gameplay Guide
I just spent the last hour playing Touch Draw Game and I've got to say, it's been a pretty mixed bag for me. The concept of the game is really simple - you're given a prompt and you have to draw a picture based on that prompt, all using just your finger or stylus on the screen. It sounds easy enough, but trust me, it's a lot harder than it looks. I mean, have you ever tried to draw a cat using just your finger on a touchscreen? It's not as easy as it sounds.
One of the things that I liked about Touch Draw Game is the prompts themselves. They're all pretty funny and quirky, and they really challenge you to think creatively. I had to draw everything from a smiling piece of toast to a robot riding a unicorn, and it was actually pretty entertaining. The game also keeps track of your drawings and lets you share them on social media, which is a nice touch. I had a good laugh looking back over some of my earlier attempts - let's just say I won't be giving up my day job to become a professional artist anytime soon.
But despite the fun prompts and the entertainment value, I did find myself getting a bit frustrated with the gameplay at times. The controls can be a bit finicky, and it's not always easy to get the game to recognize what you're trying to draw. I found myself having to retry some of the prompts multiple times because the game just wasn't registering my drawing correctly. It's not a huge deal, but it can be a bit annoying when you're in the middle of a creative flow and the game starts messing with you.
Another thing that I noticed is that the game doesn't really have much in the way of progression or goals. You're just kind of drawing for the sake of drawing, which can get a bit old after a while. I mean, I'm not really sure what the point of the game is, other than just to have fun and be creative. And while that's all well and good, I think the game could benefit from having some kind of system in place to track your progress or challenge you to improve your drawing skills. As it stands, it's just a bit too casual and laid-back for my taste.
That being said, I do think Touch Draw Game could be a lot of fun for the right person. If you're someone who enjoys drawing or just likes to be creative, you'll probably get a kick out of this game. And even if you're not a great artist, the game is still pretty entertaining just for the silly prompts and the challenge of trying to draw something recognizable. I just wish the game had a bit more depth and complexity to it - as it stands, it's just a bit too shallow for my taste.
Overall, I'd say Touch Draw Game is a solid, if not spectacular, game. It's a great way to kill some time and have a bit of fun, but it's not something that I'd play for hours on end. If you're looking for a creative outlet or just want to try something new, you might enjoy Touch Draw Game - but if you're looking for a more substantial gaming experience, you might want to look elsewhere.
